Gerard grew up in Southeast Nebraska, the youngest of eight children. Following business
marketing studies at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, he attended mortuary school as part of his lifelong career.

After working for the prestigious California firms of Forest Lawn and Pierce Brothers, he created his
own funeral service company in 1993. In 2007, he added Heartland Pet Mortuary and Crematory as the perfect
fit with his traditional mortuaries.

Countless times every day and night, her pleasant message is the first assurance to our callers that
someone is here to help to answer a question, solve a problem, provide direction, share information, direct a request, or
simply offer a receptive ear.
Bonnie has been with our company since April, 1997. Her responsibilities include scheduling
the day to day overall operations of the company. In addition, Bonnie takes on the tasks of
our 24 hour assistance line, anwering questions at night and on the weekends. Her knowledge and compassion make
her a most valued member of our family.

Mark, a Michigan native moved with his family to Redlands, California in 1959 at the age of 7.
After graduating from Redlands High School in 1970, he moved to San Francisco to attend mortuary college. Mark began
his funeral service career in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California, and after 25 years, moved back to the Inland
Empire.
In 2000, Mark joined our company as the Senior Counselor. Mark meets with the
majority of the families, assisting them in finalizing the type of arrangements they wish, along with discussing all of the
options available to them.
Mark's knowledge and expertise in all areas of funeral service is a great
asset to the our family.

Office Supervisor
Donna, a life long resident of the Inland Empire, grew up in Redlands. She graduated from Redlands High School in
1984. She continued her education in medical assisting, phlebotomy, and medical management. She managed in the
medical field for many years. She now lives in Highland with her husband, son and daughter.
Donna's supervisory and medical background made it easy to add her as the
office supervisor in our family.

Marlene has been assisting our families with Before Need Planning since 1997.
Her knowledge in funeral service planning and insurance, along with her genuine care and concern for people make her well
qualified for her position.
You can often find her delivering birthday cakes to local convalescent homes, and traveling thoughout
Southern California to discuss Pre Planning arrangements.
Marlene's hard work and dedication to serving the community is an inspiration to those around
her.
